Recruiting Competition: Kendarius was a hot ticket since his junior year and into the fall, but he ended all speculation on Ovember 5, 2013, with a commitment to the Rebels. In-state school Georgia kept on him hard, especially at the end, but Webster held firm and held his ground to sign with the Rebels in the end.

Quotable: "I like how the fans there support their players. I also developed some good relationships with the current players and some of the signees already. It just felt like the right fit for me and my family. My Mom was sold on Ole Miss pretty quickly. She likes the atmosphere and people there. I also liked the approach of the coaches took with me. It was education first, but you know they are serious about football as well. They told me I have a chance to play early, but they didn't promise me anything. All they said was that if I come in and work hard, I would get a shot. We will have a young team with a lot of young players, but I think that's going to help us build something special."

Scouting Report: Webster has ideal size and agility to play corner. He has good length and can accelerate and back pedal well. He has good vision and adjusts well to the ball. Excels at the coverage aspect of playing corner, but he needs to work on his tackling ability and needs to play more physical. A good year in the weight room and a little extra weight should solve those issues. His agility and coverage are top notch - Scott Kennedy

Coach Hugh Freeze Quote: "As a staff, mostly (DB) Coach (Jason) Jones, identified Kendarius pretty quickly and we knew we loved him from the start. He's a great young man from a great family and he's what we are looking for in a corner. We love his coverage skills and his agility. His movement is good and he has more length than some of our current corners. We are expecting him to come in and compete for a job and compete for playing time immediately. When we get him on our training table and in our weight room, he will gain some weight and be just what you are looking for in an SEC corner. He was a top target of our from the start and we are glad to have signed him."
