"It all started with coach (Jason) Jones," Tucker said. "He reached out to me. He'ss a pretty cool guy. He's trying to make me feel at home. Like I said he's just a really cool guy."
What has the six-foot-three, 190-pound safety learned about Ole Miss through the recruiting process?
"I got there a day early before the camp started. Got there around 10:00 p.m. I got a chance to see both the fields, practice fields, locker rooms and the dorms. I really like their locker rooms but most of all I just liked how well I meshed with their coaches. Coaches (Hugh) Freeze, Jones and Wommack. They are all really good coaches. I definitely plan to be back there for a football game this fall."
How did the camp go?
"I just just tried to show them what I could do. I think I did a good job of doing that. They said I'm one of their top defensive backs on their board for my class."
Who are the main schools involved right now?
"I have offers from TCU, Missouri, Utah, Nebraska and some other Texas schools are looking at me hard. Ole Miss too."
One of the home state programs is showing the most interest right now.
"I would say TCU. I'm still learning about them. I haven't taken a visit up there yet. I'm just going off what the coaches say. Coach Cross is a pretty cool guy."
What will the 4-star safety look for in a school when his decision does come?
"I'm looking for a place to call home, really, and my relationship with the coaches."
