"I think our turning point of the season was against Lafayette," Harmon said. "We came in and had to beat them because we lost to Starkville and Madison Central. We had to up our intensity in our four down linemen and came in and destroyed them. They are a good team too. We got back to playing Oxford ball."

The following week Oxford thumped West Point 52-20 and head into their division opening game against Saltillo Friday.

"I'm coming off of the ball stronger than I was last year. Our whole line is coming off stronger now. I think we are going to peak at the right time of the year this season."
