"I'm still open with my recruitment," Price said. "Georgia and Auburn are probably my leaders right now, but I'm still open. "I'm in contact with coach Matt Luke (Ole Miss) a lot. He was just in here this week. He really wants to get me in for an official visit. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to take an official visit over there or not. I'm not really sure. We are just going to keep talking. I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet."
Scout's No. 80 overall prospect in the country could come to Oxford unofficially.
"I'm thinking about going over there with Donta Evans for the LSU game, but I don't know yet. I'm so busy. I plan my week around Archer football first and recruiting second. A lot of people want to get me over to their campus. I've been going over to Georgia a lot lately because it's so convenient, but I definitely plan to get over to a game at Ole Miss' this fall even if it's not an official visit. Ole Miss really wants me to come in after my season for my official visit, but I told them I would come over for a game of theirs first. I've never been to their campus so I really want to see what it is all about. They have been interested in me since I was a sophomore. They offered me as a sophomore. They have been recruiting me hard. I just haven't had a chance yet to get over there, but I plan on it."
The Ole Miss coaches have been trying to build a good bond with Scout's No. 7 rated offensive tackle.
"Ole Miss was one of the first schools to start recruiting me. Coaches (Matt) Luke and (Maurice) Harris have stayed on me from the start. They have some great coaches over there at Ole Miss. Coach Lee Wilbanks sends a lot of great stuff and a lot of great scriptures to me all of the time. They are more focused on building good character and that's something I look for in a school. I'm really impressed with the direction the program is headed. Donta (Evans) says a lot of great things about it over there too. I just want to get over there for a game and check it out."
What are the strengths to Price's game?
"I feel like I came from a spread offense at Central. Me being an offensive lineman, my whole career, I came from a spread offense. I feel like I'm a very good pass blocker, but since I have been at Archer my run blocking has really improved. I was a good run blocker last year, but I had trouble staying low. I had high pad leverage. My coach here has definitely coached me up a lot and increased my run blocking a lot this year. It's kind of hard to say. I feel like I'm more of a balanced offensive lineman. I feel like I can do it all."
