**Ole Miss 4-Star RB commit Justin Connor rushed 19 times for 88 yards in North Panola's 41-7 loss to Charleston last Friday.. In six games of action he now has 109 carries for 829 yards and eight touchdowns. On defense where he plays corner the 5-foot-10, 185-pounder has 12 solo tackles and an interception. Last season the Dandy Dozen selection back had 131 carries for 936 yards and eight touchdowns in an injury-plagued season that saw him miss four games of action.

North Panola (3-3) is at home against Charleston tonight. Connor has been selected to participate in the Offense/Defense All-American game.


** The nation's No. 60 prospect, D.K. Metcalf, had six catches for 76 yards and a touchdown last Friday in Oxford 56-21 win over Lewisburg. Through seven games the 6-foot-4, 208-pound wide out has 43 catches for 515 yards and seven touchdowns. The Army All-American had over 1,300 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns as a junior. D.K. is expected to be at the Vandy game Saturday.

Oxford (5-2) is at New Hope tonight. D.K. will play in the Army All-American and MS/AL All-Star games in December/January.

** 3-Star OL Eli Johnson and Lafayette defeated Rosa Fort 30-7 last Friday to run their record to 7-1. The 6' 3", 285-pound lineman was selected to the Offense/Defense All-American game as well as the MS/AL All-Star game.

Lafayette plays at home against Ripley tonight.



**The nation's No. 159 prospect, Benito Jones, had a huge night in Wayne County's 28-7 win over West Jones. He had seven tackles, three quarterback hurries, and a sack in the contest. The Dandy Dozen selection now has 41 tackles, 13 for a loss, three batted down balls, 11 qb hurries and four sacks through seven games. Last season the first team All-State selection had 84 tackles, three sacks, five for loss, three forced fumbles and three recovered fumbles.

Wayne County (5-2) is at home against Natchez tonight. Benito was play in the Under Armour and MS/AL All-Star games in December/January.



**The nation's No. 259 prospect Denzel Michell dressed out for the second time this season last week. He still has not been cleared but we are being told he could be cleared at any time. He tore his Achilles tendon in his spring game against New Hope. Denzel's junior season included 1,450 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns. The 5' 11", 212-pound back finished his sophomore season with an area best 1,718 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns.



**The nation's No. 37 rated inside linebacker, Donta Evans, helped Archer to a 38-3 win over South Gwinnett last Friday. In the contest the Ole Miss commit had seven tackles with two coming for a loss. Through six games Donta has 38 tackles, ten for a loss, three sacks and has blocked two punts. Last season the 6-foot-1 Evans had 98 tackles and seven sacks while manning the linebacker and defensive end positions.

Archer (4-1) is at home against South Gwinnett tonight.



**The nation's No.121 ranked prospect, Jaylon Jones, helped Allen to a 45-13 win over Lewisville last Friday to run their record to 6-0. Allen high school has won three straight state titles and a state best 50 consecutive games, allowing only 15.8 points per game through that span.The 5-foot-11 defensive back had four tackles, a blocked punt and a batted down two balls in the contest. The soon-to-be safety now has 31 tackles, three interceptions, seven batted down passes, blocked a punt/kick and returned two back for touchdowns through six games. Last season Jones made the All-State team after collecting a team high 11 interceptions.

Archer is at Flower Mound tonight. Jones has been selected to play in the Offense/Defense All-American bowl on January 2nd.



**The nation's No. 185 ranked prospect, Bryce Mathews, helped Brentwood Academy to a 48-14 win over Montgomery Bell Academy last Friday. The 6-foot-6, 285-pound left tackle has 43 pancakes through seven games.

Brentwood (6-1) is at Father Ryan tonight.


**The nation's No. 289 rated prospect, D'Vaughn Pennamon, returned from a bye week with a 6 carry for 106 yards/1 touchdown and also chipped in three catches for 54 yards and another score. The 205-pound tailback has 41 rushes for 464 yards and eleven receptions for 110 yards with seven total touchdowns through six games. The 5-foot-11, 205-pound Pennamon averaged over eight yards a carry as a junior.

Manvel (5-1) is at Alvin tonight.



**Three-star Ole Miss commit Jarrion Street continues his torrid pace to the 2015 season. He rushed for 161 yards and three touchdowns in Hewitt-Trussville's 35-17 win over Thompson (Ala). The 6-foot-2, 206-pound tailback has rushed the ball 161 times for 1, 105 yards and 14 touchdowns through seven games. Street ran for 1,220 yards and 12 touchdowns on 183 carries as a junior last year.

Hewitt-Trussville is at home against Mountain Brook tonight.

**Scout.com's No. 35 rated offensive guard, Chandler Tuitt, helped Sandy Creek to a 42-7 win over White Water last Friday. The 6-foot-4, 285-pound tackle has recorded 34 pancakes through five games of action.

Sandy Creek (5-1) is at Mountain Brook tonight. Tuitt has been selected to play in the Offense/Defense All-American game.


**3-Star defensive end, Tariqious Tisdale, and Lexington defeated Obion County 43-20 last Friday to run their record to 5-2. The 6-foot-5, 250-pound two-way player returned to action after sustaining an ankle sprain the prior game. He now has 40 tackles, eight for a loss, and 6 1/2 sacks through six games. On offense Tisdale has over 220 rushing yards and three touchdowns

Lexington (5-2) plays Westwood tonight.

**Scout.com's No. 60 rated offensive guard, Jack DeFoor, and Calhoun stayed unbeaten with a 38-0 win over Sonoraville (GA) last Friday. The 6-foot-5, 285-pounder was named first team All-State for all classifications as junior by the AJC.

Calhoun (7-0) plays Murray County tonight.

**Scout.com's No. 36 rated safety, Greg Eisworth, helped South Grand Prairie to a 38-6 win over Grand Prairie (TX). The 6-foot, 188-pound two-way player had 150 yards and of offense and three touchdowns in the game before the starters were taken out early in the second quarter. Greg is 51-103 787 passing yards/nine touchdowns and 121 rushes for 801 rushing yards/ten touchdowns through five games. Last season while playing quarterback he had over 3,000 yards.

South Grand Prairie (6-1) has a huge showdown against DeSoto tonight.

**4-Star DE Charles Wiley and Stockbridge defeated Luella 34-13 last Friday. The 6-foot-2, 242 pound defensive end had three and half sacks in the contest which pushes his season total to 43 tackles, 9.5 sacks, and 18 tackles for a loss through six games. He was the Region 4(5A) Defensive Player of the Year, Henry County Defensive player of the Year and first team 5A All-State after collecting 20 sacks as a junior.

Stockbridge (6-0) plays Ola (GA) Friday.

 

**JUCO MLB David Luafatasage and Arizona Western lost a tough one to Glendale CC by the score of 26-29. David had seven tackles with two coming for a loss in the contest. David now has 45 tackles, eight for a loss, and three sacks through seven games of action. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound linebacker totaled 66 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and three pass breakups as a freshman.

Arizona Western (4-2) is at home against Mesa CC Saturday.

 

**The nation's top quarterback, Shea Patterson, and IMG defeated Southern Lab (LA) 42-0 lst Friday to run their record to 6-0. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound signal caller was 12-16 for 270 yards and three touchdowns in the contest. He is now 59-98 for 1,187 yards and 14 touchdowns with two interception through six games. Last season Shea helped Calvary Baptist (La.) to a state championship. He was 129-199 for 2,428 yards and 38 touchdowns with only five interceptions.

IMG (6-0) is at home against Paramus Catholic (N.J.) Friday. This is the third team they have played from New Jersey. Shea has been selected to play in the Army All-American game.

**The No. 90 overall rated prospect, Octavious Cooley, helped Laurel to a 63-14 win over Wingfield last Friday.The 6-foot-4, 250-pound tight end had four catches for 95 yards and two touchdowns in the contest. He now has 28 catches for 605 yards and nine touchdowns through seven games. Last season he caught 46 passes for 1,062 yards and nine touchdowns. His sophomore campaign saw him catch 51 passes for 1,007 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Laurel (3-3) plays South Jones tonight. Cooley has been selected to play in the MS/AL All-Star game in December.

 

**Gabe Angel, the No. 32 rated athlete in the county, and Cookville had a bye. Through seven games Gabe has over 650 yards of offense and four touchdowns. Gabe is going both ways and has also collected 26 solo tackles and batted down five balls through six games. As a junior the 6-foot-3 1/2, 215-pounder had 40 carries or 454 yards and eight touchdowns, as well as 15 catches for 277 yards and three touchdowns.

Cookeville (6-1) is at Smyrna tonight.
