Jeffery Simmons has Noxubee County within one win of playing for another Class 4A state championship. We sat down with the 6-foot-4, 275-pound defensive lineman after their thrilling victory over Lafayette.

Jeffery Simmons caught the state by storm through the first five games of the season. Through the first five contest he had 64 tackles, 10 sacks, 10 tackles for a loss, and three blocked punts/field goals. Scout's No. 36 overall rated prospect had his knee scoped after game six and missed the next month.

Now the Army All-American is primed for another state championship run. He's feeling back to his old self after collecting over 24 tackles in the past two playoff games. But what college recruiters really want to know is what's on his mind for the next level?
