5-Star offensive lineman Greg Little announced Wednesday for Ole Miss, choosing the Rebels over Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Texas A&M, and LSU. Ole Miss is losing both of its starting tackles, including All-American Laremy Tunsil, who CBS recently pegged as the top-overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Enter Little, the No. 2 overall prospect in the country. Ole Miss hopes its found his replacement in the 6-foot-6 left tackle out of Allen High School.

"Little shows that he has the athleticism, the frame and the footwork to become a true college tackle prospect," national recruiting analyst Greg Powers said. "He has that long arm looking frame that could handle additional strength easily as he matures. No surprise to find out that he is a basketball player as well, because of his lateral range. He flashes the ability to knock defenders back with his initial contact and shows balance by being able to keep good leg drive and finish consistently."

Powers believes Little is a good fit for the Rebels for several reasons.

"First of all, I think there's a clear path to an early starting role at Ole Miss. They've developed some quality offensive tackles and sent them into the NFL. I think that's something Greg has in front of him."

Little is going to be one of the front-runners in the race to replace Tunsil, a three-year starter for Ole Miss at left tackle. Powers believes Little is up to the task.

"He's battled-tested because he's playing against top-flight competition in Texas high school football. He not only gets to go against a 4-Star defensive end in practice every day. He's faced off against Myles Garrett and Solomon Thomas, who are now college stars at Texas A&M."

The Rebels currently boasts a Top 5 recruiting class, and they're also heavily involved with the nation's top tight end (Isaac Nauta), defensive lineman (Rashan Gary), linebacker (Mique Juarez) and athlete (Mecole Hardman).

Little marks Ole Miss' 20th public commitment.
