4-Star DL in action

Benito Jones out of Waynesboro, Miss., has been a disruptor for Wayne County's defense since he stepped on the field as a ninth grader. The 4-Star defensive tackle helped his team to a 5A State Championship this season with a dominating performance in the title game. The Under Armour All-American will enroll at Ole Miss in January.

Scout.com evaluation: Benito Jones is one of the more dominant defensive tackles we have seen come through Mississippi in several years. This season he collected 83 tackles, 18.5 for a loss, 24 quarterback hurries, and seven sacks. When watching him on person or film the first thing you notice is how quick he gets out of stance. He is so explosive off of the ball. He is what we term as "quick twitched". Another attribute that makes him so explosive is his leverage. Benito has such good bend that he can stay so slow to get underneath your pads, and once he gets underneath, he wins the battle. Jones has all of the tools to become a Sunday player one day.

Above are some clips we took from the Team Mississippi practices in Hattiesburg. Below is footage from his senior season.
