Name:
A.J. Brown
Town:
Starkville, Miss
School:
Starkville
Position:
WR
Size:
6-foot-2, 210
Class:
2016
Recruitment:
Alabama (1/15), Ole Miss (1/28), and MSU
Scout.com Ranking: No. 45 overall prospect/No. 5 WR

Scout.com evaluation: A.J. helped his team to the Class 6A State Championship with 83 catches for 1,371 yards and 13 touchdowns. The Under Armour All-American is the closest thing to the next Laquon Treadwell as you'll find on the high school level. He uses his big frame to shield defenders, break tackles, and go up and get the ball. He also possesses strong hands and lower body. He's always under control with his body which allows him to make yards after the catch.

Brown has narrowed his focus to the three schools that are located within a two hour drive from home in the Tide, Rebels, and Dogs. There's no telling which way this one may go and wouldn't surprise us in the least if he picked any of the three schools. This will be a signing day decision. Ole Miss has the last crack with him as he will be on the Oxford campus this weekend.
