“The number one thing with me is the coaches. I really like all of them,” said Street, a three-star recruit by Scout.com out of Trussville, Ala. “They feel like parents away from home, and that means a lot to me and was one of the biggest reasons I committed early to them. It's family. It's comfort. It's chemistry. It's for me, Ole Miss.”
Street tried to do a little recruiting on his official visit.
“I talked a lot to Nigel Knott and A.J. Brown the most. I'd really like to see them come here,” said Street. “They’re interested, for sure, but you never know until Wednesday. I think we have a great shot at them. I think those guys need to stay in state, and I hope they do. I think they could really help our cause a lot down the road.”
Street said he bonded with D'Vaughn Pennamon, a four-star running back who’s also committed to the Rebels.
“If I’m going to spend the next four years in the same room with him, I want to get to know him,” he said. “Cool guy.”
Street, who chose Ole Miss over Missouri and Iowa State, did not have much to say except. . .
“I am 100% Ole Miss,” he closed.
