Recruitment:
Committed to Alabama over Ole Miss, Tennessee, MSU, FSU, Georgia and many more
Scout.com Ranking: No. 82 overall prospect/No. 9 RB

Scout.com evaluation: The first thing that jumps out at you is his production on the field. Last season Cam totaled 2,331 passing yards/20 touchdowns and 169 rushes for 1, 448 yards and 16 more touchdowns. All told he has an eye popping 8,040 yards and 81 touchdowns during his career at Clinton

On film it's easy to see what makes him so explosive. He has tremendous lower body strength which enables him to make a quick burst while keeping a lower center of gravity which allows him to maintain tremendous balance through his runs. He plays with a high football IQ. It's hard to argue that he's not the best true running back to come out of Mississippi in years. What we also love about his game is for a big guy he can make quick cuts to make you miss. He will need to continue to work on his top end speed but all the intangibles are there for him to become a first day draft pick in the league one day.

Alabama received an early commitment but the Rebels and Dogs will remain major factors throughout his recruitment. Cam is Ole Miss' top target and Clinton high school has been good to State through the years. Cam and his family took in an unofficial visit to Ole Miss Saturday. This recruiting battle will be a key focal point inside the Magnolia state this year.
