Scout.com Ranking: No. 239 overall / No. 20 DE

Scout.com evaluation: Aaron's path is so similar to current Ole Miss rising sophomore defensive tackle Breeland Speaks. Both started out in the 6-foot-3, 240-pound range at Jackson Callaway. Both played middle linebacker their freshman and sophomore campaigns. Both entered their junior campaign around 260 pounds and moved down to defensive end. Breeland now plays tackle. We suspect you will see Odom do the same thing on the next level.

Odom had 124 tackles, 28 for a loss, 18 sacks and seven batted down passes as a junior. We love his motor as he never stops pursuing the ball even after being tied up by a blocker. He does need to work on getting off of his blocks better. When he learns how to use his hands that will solve a lot of those problems, but as you can see with his production he has plenty of skills to put on the table. Aaron has a good first step and has good overall speed for a defensive lineman. We like his initial burst and natural bend.

Aaron's recruitment will most likely come down to the Mississippi schools plus Alabama and LSU. His older brother played for LSU in the early 2000's before transferring to Jackson State.
