Walker Little is rated a 5-Star prospect due to his NFL size (6-foot-8, 305) and athleticism at tackle. The Rebels are looking to find a book end tackle for Greg Little and Walker is a focal point to fill this slot. Walker's recruitment has been a little fluid in the past few months. What was once thought of as an Ole Miss vs Stanford battle has opened up a bit. Texas has made a move, and he will also take an official visit to Georgia. The Rebels have both his brother and sister on the Ole Miss campus. Will that be enough?
Saahdiq Charles out of Madison, Miss., is expected to be in Oxford Saturday for his second unofficial visit this year. The LSU commit is originally from the state of Louisiana before moving to Mississippi. When the Tigers came calling the 6-foot-5, 310-pound guard committed. The Rebels have been putting the full court press on him the past few months and now expect him to return to their campus. Is this a pipe dream or not? We wouldn't count out Ole Miss just yet.
The 5-Star receiver out of Amite, LA., just visited Ole Miss last weekend and has quietly been on the Oxford campus around a half dozen times over the past few months. Many thought this would be an Alabama/Georgia/LSU battle but we all know the Rebels offense is a receiver's dream. Some insiders believe the Rebels actually have the inside the track. If he does indeed return to Oxford this weekend his actions would lead one to believe that this could be true.
The Livonia, LA., product has been a long time LSU commit but he keeps showing up on the Ole Miss campus. The family has built strong bonds with the Ole Miss staff over the past couple of years. LSU has instability on their coaching staff. If the Tigers lose a couple more games Les Miles' seat will go from hot to burning. If a coaching change at LSU is made at the end of the season the Rebels have positioned themselves nicely to pick up a player at a critical need, linebacker. Patrick has set up officials with LSU, Ole Miss, Indiana and Nebraska.
Todd Harris out of Plaquemine, LA., has also been a frequent visitor on the Oxford campus over the past six months. This has been an Ole Miss vs LSU for a while but a recent offer from Alabama has put the Tide in the mix as well. Todd and Patrick Queen are really tight. If Ole Miss flips Patrick; the Rebels could be in line to add this talented 4-Star safety.
Will Ignont out of Buckhorn, Ala., was thought to be a long time lean to Alabama but backed off of a silent commit earlier the summer. This left the door open for FSU, LSU UCLA and Michigan. Will visited Ole Miss a couple times in the spring. Will this trip elevate the Rebels into his top five? Ole Miss sure hopes so. Linebacker, again, is a critical position for the Rebels in the 2016 class.
