Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze had good things to say about LB's Temario Strong and Willie Hibbler at his weekly press conference on Monday

Despite struggles at the linebacker position this season, Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze has seen some positives from two backups.

Freeze spoke highly of senior Temario Strong and redshirt freshman Willie Hibbler at his weekly press conference on Monday.

"Temario played really well in our big packages," Freeze said. "We’ve got to get him to understand some of the base stuff that we do. He definitely plays the game the way we want it played.

Willie did some good things; I think Willie has a bright future, he’s just young. He is going to get some more reps though this week I think. Hopefully he will continue to mature.”

Ole Miss will need its linebackers to play at a high level this week against an Auburn team that put up 543 rushing yards in a 56-3 win over Arkansas last Saturday. The Rebels will face the Tigers at 6:15 pm. CT in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Saturday. The game will be televised on the SEC Network.
