Scout.com evaluation: Richardson helped Aliceville to the state championship finals this season while starting both ways at slot and corner. Offensively he produced 1,082 yards and 13 touchdowns. Defensively, he only participated on that side of the ball in nine of their games but still collected 13 pass breakups.

When you watch his film you can see someone who can stop and go on a dime. He changes directions smoothly and can get back going at full speed in a hurry. This is a must for any corner on the next level. You also see someone who is a legit 6-foot, which was verified at the Nike camp this summer. Richardson is a short-strider in the first 10-20 yards but really opens up when he gets fully going. This allows him to maintain elite speed. He ran a laser-verified 4.46 at the Nike as well.

The raw skills are in place, but the one area that he'll have to improve on is his weight. Playing at 175 pounds is tough do in the SEC. He could be a candidate for a redshirt so he can concentrate on adding to his frame.
