Scout.com evaluation: Antwuan Branch was committed to Purdue before the start of his senior season but flipped to North Carolina in November. He also took in an official visit to Wisconsin in October. The Rebels have been recruiting Antwuan since the start of his junior season. Relationships have been made with coach Derrick Nix with Antwuan and his family well before the offer was extended.

Antwuan rushed for over 4,500 yards the past two seasons for Kenwood high. Branch was named the Leaf Chronicle Player of the Year for the '15 and '16 seasons. He shows balance and vision and the ability to stick his foot in the ground and change directions. He's not a dancer as he likes to go North/South and is what you term a "one cut" runner. He shows good enough speed to break away from the pack and the ability to get going in a hurry. We also like his ability to break tackles and use his arm as a weapon to stiff arm defenders.
