Rebels looking to ink one to two signal callers in the '18 class

Ole Miss will be in the market to sign at least one quarterback in the 2018 class, possibly two. Inside we go over the list of signal callers they have offered to this point.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Arkansas native threw for over 3,000 yards and rushed for another 1,000. Alabama has been coming on strong. Ole Miss was one of the first to offer. The Razorbacks just recently offered but didn't pull the trigger for Gerry Bohanon until after Ole Miss and Alabama.

Kevin Doyle first popped on the Ole Miss campus last spring for their Junior Day. The 6-foot-4 signal caller was back in Oxford this past fall.

Justin Fields committed early to Penn State but the Rebels continue to communicate with the Georgia native. Some speculate that Fields is a good decommitment candidate. We'll see.

Cade Fortin is another Georgia native that is committed to an out of state program. Texas A&M is where he gave his verbal to before the start of his junior season. The 6' 2", 205-pound signal caller has not given any hints that his commitment will change.

Joey Gatewood gave his verbal to Auburn in the middle of his sophomore season. The Jacksonville native was in communication with former Ole Miss offensive coordinator Dan Werner but has not said anything publicly to lead one to believe he is wavering.

Phil Jurkovec has been committed to Notre Dame since the summer before his junior season began. The Pennsylvania native is your prototypical drop back passer. Big, strong and has a cannon for an arm.

Dakerson Joyner is one of the elite athletes in this year's class. The South Carolina native is being recruited by some as an athlete, but Ole Miss likes his play making ability at quarterback. He's 6' 1", 200 and can run like a deer. Virginia Tech, Alabama, NC State, Louisville and South Carolina are heavily involved.

Trevor Lawrence is out of Cartersville, GA. He's 6' 6", 200 and is currently committed to Clemson. Trevor is Scout's No. 1 overall rated player. He committed to the Tigers shortly before the nationally championship game.

Tanner Mordecai is out of Waco, Texas. Coach Phil Longo is very familiar with 6' 2", 195-pound signal caller. We wouldn't be surprised if he attended one of the upcoming Junior Days at Ole Miss. He'll be one to keep an eye on down the road.

Connor Noland is the second Arkansas high school quarterback that Ole Miss has offered. Unfortunately the 6' 2", 190-pounder is committed to the home state program, Arkansas. We all know that is a tough hill to climb.

Justin Rogers is out of Bossier City, LA. He's one of the better athletes playing quarterback in this year's class. He released a top five in November. TCU, LSU, Houston, North Carolina and Ole Miss. Rogers is expected to be on the Ole Miss campus this spring.

Spencer Sanders committed to Oklahoma State this past October. He's out of Denton, Texas., and one of the nation's top prospects.

Artur Sitkowski transferred from New Jersey to IMG this off season.

The top 100 recruit has consistently listed Ole Miss as a school he's interested in. He'll be one to watch.
