What has Kristian learned about Ole Miss through the recruiting process?
"They have been successful the last few years. I've watched a lot of their games on TV and liked the way they fly around on defense. Coach (Maurice) Harris is friends with my head coach. They have been friends since they were in like high school. He called my head coach and said they wanted to offer me. I started talking to coach Harris on the phone, and we have been talking ever since."
The visit to Ole Miss answered a few questions.
"I wanted to see how well I meshed with the coaching staff, first of all. They are all really good guys. I like how they teach out there. They don't do a whole lot of yelling. Coach Roach keeps it lively and fun out there. I wanted to see if I could play early if I went there. I found out they have a lot of guys graduating next season at my position so that's a big plus."
Williams has been up to Tennessee to see their campus as well.
"Their coaching staff treated me as if I were home. I just like the respect they showed me and how heavily they want me."
How did Indiana find the '16 All-State selection?
"Coach (Grant) Heard started getting in contact with me a couple months back. We have been talking a lot."
