Reid Neely of Jackson Academy in Jackson, MS is a big offensive tackle prospect that has already picked up an offer from one of his early favorites. With a good blend of academics and athletics, Neely is sure to get even more offers as the spring evaluation process approaches.
"I've gotten an offer from Ole Miss," said Neely. "They were
my favorite team growing up. I went to several of their home games last year. I
also went to LSU/Florida. My Top 5 right now is Ole Miss, LSU, Auburn, Alabama,
Each of his favorites has been in contact with Neely. He has a 3.8 GPA to go
along with his 6-5 and 280 pound frame, and his excellent academic standing
makes him an even more attractive prospect to colleges across the country.
"I try to compare my game to Todd Wade. I grew up watching him. I have long
arms and think I'm a great drive blocker."
With one offer already tendered and more on the way, Neely is a prospect to keep
an eye on this summer and fall.
