GA Signal Caller has 1st Offer

Tyler Horne is a 6'2 190lb QB out of Newnan High School in the state of GA. He has just recently picked up his first offer, and more should be on the way shortly. Who was the first school to step up to the plate?

"Ball State offered me last night," Tyler Horne said.

Tyler is drawing attention from college coaches throughout the country as well.

"I'm getting letters from all across the south, but Ole Miss, Maryland and Alabama are recruiting me the hardest right now. I feel like Ole Miss is very close to offering me in particular. Coach Cutcliffe came by the school a few days ago and asked me to attend their camp in a few weeks."

Which schools have passed the early cut for Horne?

I like Ole Miss, Clemson, Maryland, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee the most right now."

Tyler put up great numbers last year, throwing for 3,057 yards and 24 touchdowns as opposed to just 12 interceptions. What are his expectations of himself headed in to next year?

"My goal this year is to throw for 3,500 yards and cut my interceptions in half."

What does Horne feel he does the best right now, and what does he think needs the most improvement in his game?

"My strengths are my strong arm, quick feet, mobility and reading defenses. I need to work on my footwork and you can never read defenses well enough."

Tyler plans to attend camps at Ole Miss along with Clemson and maybe the one day camp at Georgia as well. He projects as a full academic qualifier.
