Wesley Beardain

Wesley Beardain (QB, Winona, MS) - Wesley is listed as 6' 1 3/4", 190 with 4.6 speed.

Beardain passed for over 2,400 yards and 28 TD's as a junior.

For his play on the field, Wesley was named District 2 (3A) and Region 2(3A) Player of the Year.

According to the latest report from The Insiders' Mississippi Scout, Wesley's early list consists of Ole Miss, Marshall, and Alabama.

Beardain carries a 3.4 GPA and an 18 on his ACT.








Jessie Bowman
(DL, Brookhaven, MS) - Jessie is listed as 6' 0", 305 with 5.3 speed.

Jessie totaled 100 tackles and 7 sacks during the 2003 campaign.

Bowman was named 1st Team All-State (Class 4A) and 1st Team All-Division 7(4A) for his performances on the field. Jessie also made the 2004 Dandy Dozen team by the Clarion Ledger.

According to the latest report from The Insiders' SEC Recruiting analyst, Jessie's early consists of LSU, Mississippi State, Memphis, Southern Mississippi, and Miami.

Academics could be a concern.


Andrew Eddie

Andrew Eddie (RB/LB, Okolona, MS) - Andrew is listed as 6' 0", 200, with 4.5 speed.

As a junior, Eddie rushed for 800 yards and 10 TD's with 70 rushing attempts. On defense, Andrew collected over a 100 tackles, 7 sacks, and 2 int's.

Eddie has been named the Offensive Back of the Year in Division 5 (2A) for the past two seasons. Andrew was selected as the LB of the Year in Division 5(2A) and is a repeat Super 22 member.

According to the latest report from The Insiders' National Recruiting Editor, Eddie's early list consists of Notre Dame, Florida, LSU, Virginia Tech, Ohio State, and Ole Miss.

Andrew carries a 3.0 GPA and an 18 on his ACT test.




Tim Holloway (LB, Seminary, MS) - Tim is listed as 6' 4", 215 with 4.6 speed.

As a junior, he started at both running back and linebacker. Tim is being recruited mainly as a linebacker but he would prefer to play the tailback position on the next level.

Holloway rushed 223 times for 1, 696 yards and 29 TD's during the 2003 campaign. This was good enough to earn All-Region 7(2A).

Tim was receiving recruiting interest from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Southern Miss as of early May.

Off the field issues and grades could be a major concern.



John Jerry

John Jerry (OL, South Panola, MS) - John is listed as 6' 6", 325, with 5.3 speed.

John, the brother of Peria Jerry, started at defensive tackle and played a lot of offensive tackle last season for the 5A Champs. For the season, Jerry collected 86 tackles (29 for losses) and 13 QB sacks.

This was good enough to earn 1st Team All-District and All-State honors. John is a member of the 2004 Dandy Dozen Team by the Jackson Clarion Ledger

According to the latest report from The Insiders' SEC Recruiting analyst, John's list consists of Mississippi State, Southern Miss, Ole Miss, Memphis, and Arkansas.

Grades could be a concern.



Jimmy Johns (QB/Ath, Brookhaven, MS) - Jimmy is listed as 6' 2 1/2", 223, with 4.65 speed.

Johns was 86 for 160 for the season. He totaled 1, 443 passing yards (18 Td's) and 820 rushing yards (7 TD's). Jimmy had a 6.2 per carry average for the year.

This was good enough to earn Offensive Player of the Year in District 6 (4A). Jimmy also made the 2004 Dandy Dozen Team from the Clarion Ledger.

According to the last report from The Insiders' SEC Recruiting analyst, John's early list consists of MSU, Auburn, Iowa, Tennessee, LSU, Alabama, and Florida State.

Jimmy carries a 3.0 overall GPA and a 2.3 Core GPA. He scored just over an 18 on his first ACT attempt.



Jessie Pedyfoot

Jessie Pedyfoot (LB, Warren Central, MS) - Jessie is listed as 6' 3", 235 with 4.8 speed.

Jessie has been starting at linebacker for the Vikings since the end of the 2002 campaign, but has the frame to move down on the next level. As a junior,
Pedyfoot collected 115 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 int's, and 2 fumble recoveries. Jessie also received a few snaps at fullback on goal line situations. He rushed for 3 TD's for the season.  

For his play on the field, Pedyfoot was named 1st Team All-Region and 1st Team All-County by the Vicksburg Post

According to the latest report from The Insiders' Mississippi Scout, Pedyfoot's early list consist of Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Southern Mississippi, Auburn, and West Virginia.

Jessie carries a 2.6 GPA and has yet to take the ACT test.




Co' Eric Riley
(Ath, George County, MS) - Co' Eric is listed as 6' 1", 180 with 4.55 speed.

As a junior, he mostly played quarterback but did get in some snaps at wide receiver. He finished the year with 1, 237 passing yards and 22 TD's.

C'o Eric was the MVP in Division 7(4A) for his play on the field. Riley was also selected to the 2004 Dandy Dozen Team by the Clarion Ledger.

According to the latest report by The Insiders' Scout, Riley has an early list that consist of Southern Mississippi, Mississippi State, and Ole Miss.

Grades could be problem.



Lamarcus Russell

Lamarcus Russell (WR/S, Winona, MS) - Lamarcus is listed as 6' 3", 180 with 4.5 speed.

LaMarcus will be a four year starter this upcoming season. As a junior, he caught 50 plus passes for 700 and something yards. At safety, Russell had 50 plus tackles and 12 interceptions. LaMarcus tied the state record with five interceptions in one game.


Russell was named 1st Team All-District and was a Super 24 member for his play on the field.

Russell carries a 85 GPA and a 15 on his ACT test.





John Sibley

John Sibley (DL, Greenville, MS) - John is listed as 6' 3", 274 with 5.0 speed.

Sibley will be a four year starter this upcoming season. As a junior, he started both ways for Greenville at offensive guard and defensive tackle. Sibley will be moving over to the middle linebacker position next year.

According to the latest report from The Insiders' Mississippi Scout, Sibley's early list consist of Ole Miss and LSU.

John carries a 2.8 GPA and a 16 on his ACT test.







J. J. Smith
(RB, Forrest County, MS) - J. J. is listed as 6' 0", 190, with 4.48 speed.

Smith has been starting for Forrest County since the 2001 campaign. Last year for the Aggies, he accounted for over 2, 000 yards of offense (1,624 rushing) and 25 TD's.

This was good enough to earn 1st Team All-Area by the Hattiesburg American, 1st Team WDAM All-Area, and Prep Sports Weekly District Player of the Year.

According to the latest report from The Insiders' Mississippi Scout, Smith's early list consist of Ole Miss, Nebraska, Arkansas, and Mississippi State.

Smith carries a 2.0 GPA and has yet to take the ACT test.



Chris Spencer

Chris Spencer (OL, Meridian, MS) - Chris is listed as 6' 4", 280.

Meridian is expected to be one of the more improved teams next season. Chris will be relied on to lead the way for one of the state's more talented rushers, junior Cordera Eason.

Spencer committed to Mississippi State on July 2nd.

Chris is an excellent student, as he carries a 3.5 GPA and a 22 on his ACT test
