Jarvis Walker commits to Ole Miss

<b>Jarvis Walker</b> (SG, Chicago, ILL) - The Rebel's basketball program continues to receive good news, as one of Chicago's top prospects gave his verbal commitment to Ole Miss yesterday.<br> <br> The 6' 4&quot;, 200 pound product out of Rich Central is the brother of current NBA player, Antoine Walker.

Jarvis plays for the Illinois Bobcats, which is the same AAU team that current Ole Miss commitment, Marquis Young, plays for.

Chicago Preps Hoops describes Jarvis' game as, "one of the most versatile players in the state of Illinois. He is both an excellent ball-handler and rebounder. He is known for his all-around play on the basketball court, and consistently does whatever his team needs him to do to win games. This summer, he established himself as a three-point shooter to be reckoned with.

Rebel assistant, Tracy Dildy, who is a windy city native, has brought in two Chicago commitments and one transfer since his arrival at Ole Miss.

Walker marks Ole Miss' 7th public commitment for the early signing period.
