What are you working on for the next level? "My speed and quickness."
Which player do you most look up to? "My old teammate, Larry Kendrick."
Talk about your freshman season at Pearl River CC? "Well, we won State, and I had 43 catches for 772 yards and 9 TD's."
Any awards? "I was named 1st Team All-State and All-MACJC in both football and basketball."
Which position do you play in bball? "I play small forward."
What did you average for the year? "17 pts and 9 rebounds."
Do you plan to play both sports on the next level? "If I have a chance to, I will probably play both."
Is it important that you get that chance? "Yea, I would say so."
How is this football season going? "Great, we are ranked #2, and we are 8 - 0 for the year."
Stats? "I have like 34 catches for 695 yards and 6 TD's. I have also returned 3 punts for TD's."
Being so tall; does it make it more difficult to return punts than a smaller man? "Well, I just set up my blockers and turn my speed on at the end."
Which schools are the most serious with you right now? "The ones that I am looking at are USC, Alabama, LSU, Florida State, and Ole Miss. There are some other schools like Auburn, Texas, and Texas A&M that I am checking out too."
Have all of those schools offered you a scholarship? "Auburn has not, but the rest of them have."
Have you set up any official visits yet? "No, not yet. I am going to wait until after the season ends before I start scheduling."
If you had to schedule them all today; who would they be? "Right now, I would say USC, LSU, FSU, Alabama, and probably Miami."
Where does Ole Miss fit in your plans? "Out of my top schools, they are probably last. My best friend, Larrick Kendrick, plays over there. I played beside him, and I know what kind of player he is, and he is not even playing at Ole Miss. That is what I am really looking at. I mean, I love their coaches and campus, but I have got to play."
Have you attended any college games this fall? "Yes sir, I went to check out Ole Miss a couple of times. I am going to the Ole Miss/LSU game next week, and I am thinking about going to the Alabama/Auburn game."
What are going to be the main factors when it comes decision time? "I will probably be looking for the best QB who throws the ball the most, really. Who ever wants me to be the man in my first year, really, that is what I am mainly looking at."
When are you scheduled to graduate from Pearl River CC? "In May."
