Earl schedules official with Ole Miss
The following information was revealed during our interview with Earl Bennett:
How did your trip to Kentucky go? "I was not able to get a chance to go because I had to play in the playoffs. I could not go."
What was the outcome of the game? "We lost to Statesboro (5A)."
What were your final stats for the season? "I had 30 TD's. I had over 600 yards receiving, 1,580 rushing yards, and I threw for over 600 yards."
Which colleges have called you this past week? "Ole Miss, Vandy, Kentucky, and Alabama."
Was this the first time Alabama has called you? "Yes sir."
What did they say to you? "They told me what a fine player I was, and that they hoped that I would come to the Iron Bowl this weekend. They came to the school the next day and talked to my coach. My coach told me that they informed him that I had an offer, and they were going to let me know about it the next time they called."
Does this jump Alabama into the picture? "A little bit, but not too much though. I am still leaning towards Ole Miss and Kentucky."
Did you get a chance to reschedule your visit to Kentucky? "I think he said it would be December 3rd."
Have you scheduled your Ole Miss visit? "He said it would most likely be January 21st, and that he would get back to me if anything changed."
Earl wants to major in premed and carries a 3.8 Core GPA and a 17 on the ACT.
