The following information was revealed during our interview with Lekeitharun Ford:
Did you make it to Oxford for your official visit? "Yes sir."
When did you arrive? "Friday around 6:30 pm."
Did anyone accompany you? "I came by myself."
Who was your host? "Corvelli Haynes. We played together at (MS) Delta (CC).
He pretty much cool."
What did you learn about Ole Miss that maybe you did not know from before? "They
have very friendly people. The people were straight."
What did you most like about Ole Miss during your visit? "Their new facilities.
All that was pretty sharp."
Do you feel like you can make an impact at Ole Miss? "Yea, I believe I can
come in and make a big difference."
You said you wanted to see how well you fit in with the players with each school
you are looking at; how well did you fit in with the Ole Miss players? "I
think I fit in with their players real well. I kicked it with Larry Kendrick,
Mike Espy, Ta' Biddle, Travis Johnson, and Michael Spurlock. They all cool."
Which coaches did you meet with during your one on one visit this morning? "I
met with Coaches Luke and Hopson."
What was discussed? "They just asked me if I had a good time. That was pretty
Was your scholarship status discussed? "Yes, but they have to wait to see
what their new coach says."
Was it weird not having a staff in place while you were on your visit? "Yea
(laugh). It was different, real different."
Will the coach that Ole Miss hires be important to you? "Yea, I want to be
around a good coach who gets along with his players."
Where does Ole Miss now stand with you? "There is a very good chance that
I will coming to Ole Miss."
How did Levance Richmond's and Larry Brackins' visits go? "I think there
is a good chance they are coming too."
