On offense, he had 12 TD's at wide receiver. Tyson was named District Player of the Year for his play on the field.

The following information was revealed during our interview with Tyson Andrus:

What is your current height, weight, and forty time? "I am 6' 2", 185, and I run a 4.5 forty."

Current bench press, squat, and vertical? "285/450/36"."

Which position are you being recruited to play on the next level? "Cornerback/safety/wide receiver."

Mostly at which position? "Safety."

What are your strengths on the field? "I am a ball hawker. I am a student of the game."

What are you working on for the next level? "I just want to get better at every aspect of my game. I want to learn more about my position."

Which camps did you attend this summer? "The Nike camp at LSU."

How long have you been starting for N' Side? "Since my freshman season."

What were your stats as a junior? I had 64 tackles and 7 interceptions."

Any awards? "I was named All-District, Parish, and All-Louisiana."

How did your team fare this season? "We lost to John Curtis in the State Championship. We went 13 - 2."

Which positions did you play this year? "I played QB/FS/CB/WR."

Where did you start? "Mostly at WR/CB. I played some QB/CB too."

On offense, what were your stats? "I had around 580 receiving yards and 7 TD's. I also had 3 rushing TD's and 2 punt returns for TD's."

Defense? "I had 67 tackles and 11 interceptions."

Any awards? "I was named Player of the Year in our District."

Have you had any recent inhome visits? "Yes sir, it is the same schools. They pretty much come by every week, you know, Tennessee, Auburn, Ole Miss, the state schools, Oklahoma State and Syracuse."

Any offers and which position is each school recruiting you for? "Yes sir, Tennessee (DB), Auburn (CB), Ole Miss (dB), Oklahoma State (WR/CB), and TCU (CB) have offered me."

Which school(s) have caught your attention? "Tennessee talks really good. I like Ole Miss too. And Auburn, they are talking good."

Have you lined up any official visits? "Only one so far, and that is to Ole Miss. I set it up yesterday. I go there on the (Jan) 14th."

What will you be looking for while you are on your visits? "Just comfortable people to be around. I will also look at their graduation rates and stuff like that."

Tyson carries a 2.9 GPA and an 18 on the ACT.
