The following information was revealed during our interview with Lance Lee:

Have you received your test score? "Yes sir, this morning."

What did you make? "I made an 18 total and a 22 on my English. I only needed a 21. I made it."

Do you have a nickname yet? "A lot of people call me "Little Buck". They say I am a younger Doug Buckles."

Have you informed Ole Miss about your great news? "I called Coach Walker Jones this morning. They can not call us because it is a dead period, but I got in touch with him."

What was his response? "He just started yelling down the hall to everyone (laugh). He was pretty excited I think (laugh)."

How do you feel? "Man, it feels like it does the first time I signed with Ole Miss. Like the whole world has been lifted off of my shoulders. It feels even better than the first time though. I am going to appreciate this a lot more. I also appreciate Ole Miss for sticking with me."

When will you resign with Ole Miss? "They said in February. I am going to enroll on January 2nd, and go through practice, but I will not sign until February."

You said that you are going to appreciate this a lot more now; expand on that comment. "I was thankful the first time. Having my school paid for and all, but now, it is still getting paid again, but I know what I am missing now. I did not get to hit anybody the whole semester. I miss that. I wish I could hit someone tomorrow. I am ready to get it on. Send the big ones at me and double the little ones because I am coming hard in the Spring. This whole thing has taught me that I want to be in school again and play the game I love, football."

What are your goals for your freshman season? "Shoot man, I want to try and get in the rotation. Just anyway I can help the defense out in practice. I want to make them better. I want to make everyone better. I want to do all I can do to get our team back on track. People might be down on us, but I can tell you this, we will be back next year. You can tell everyone I said that. Do not be down on us because we are going to shock some people next year."
