The Rebels have added three recruits to their official visit list.
The first prospect is Willie Rose (FB) out of Gaither (FL). Willie is a 240 pound
fullback and will visit Ole Miss on January 21, 2005.
Next in line, you have Andrew Farr (OL) out of Pell City (AL). Andrew attended
Ole Miss' football camp this past summer and is listed as 6' 4", 295. Andrew
will visit Ole Miss on January 21st.
Lastly, Marvin Peoples (LB) out of Apopka, FL is a 6' 2", 225 pound linebacker
prospect who was an All-State selection this past year.
The Rebels are also bringing in Quentin Taylor (LB) and Eric Sledge (WR) out of
Apopka High on the same weekend, which is January 21st. Apopka is one of the top
programs in the state of Florida, and as you can see, Ole Miss is trying very
hard to break into the school.
Speaking of teammates, we hear that the Rebels are trying to work it out where
Selvish Capers (TE), Patrick Trahan (S), and Alfred Jones (DL), out of St. Augustine
(New Orleans), will all come in on the same weekend.
As of now, Capers is scheduled to come in on January 28 and Jones is slated for
January 14th. They are trying to get the two dates together so they can bring
in Patrick Trahan on the same weekend.
Reports came out yesterday that former Florida commitment, Jonathan
Garner, (QB) was going to visit Ole Miss on January 14th instead of January 21st.
Jonathan informed us this morning that he will visit Ole Miss on January 21st
and not the 14th.
He also informed us that Ole Miss is tied with Georgia Tech for the lead. We will
release the full interview in the near future.
