The following information was revealed during our interview with Jabarre Mitchell:

What is your current height, weight, and forty time? "I am 6' 1", 198, and I run a 4.4 forty."

Which position are you being recruited for the next level? "Probably strong safety, but they say I could grow into a linebacker if I get any bigger. I have already put on 10 pounds since last summer, so you know, it might be linebacker."

What are your strengths on the field? "Just hitting. I love to hit. I know where the ball is going to. I have good coverage skills. Good players make you better too, so you know, I have played with a lot of good players."

What are your working on for the next level? "I am a track guy, so my speed is always something I want to get better at. My agility and strength too."

What do you currently bench and squat? "250 and 450."

Did you get a chance to attend any camps this past summer? "No, I worked out with some college players. Them camps are good, but they do not do that much for you."

What was John Ehret's record this year? "We had an undefeated season and lost in the quarterfinals (5A)."

What were your stats for the season? "I had 83 solo tackles, 5 blocked punts, 28 QB hurries, 4 forced fumbles, and 4 recovered fumbles."

Any awards? "I was named Metro MVP, West Banks' Player of the Year, and District 7(5A) Player of the Year."

Did you make it in for your Ole Miss visit? "Yea, I am thinking real hard about going there."

Did anyone come with you on your trip? "No, just me."

What all did you learn about Ole Miss during your trip? "That it is a power football program. It is all about football over there. I did not know it had a great program like that. I did not know they had that type of staff either."

What most did you like about Ole Miss during your trip? "The coaches."

Dislike? "I enjoyed it the whole time."

What did Coach Orgeron say to you during your one on one meeting? "He liked me real good. I liked him real good. It is going to be a big change at Ole Miss. That is what I like."

Did he ask you to commit? "Yea, but I did not commit. They are my top school, but I will probably take two to three more visits before I make up my mind for good."

Who are you talking to about visiting? "I let my coach handle all of that stuff?"

Who is keeping in touch with your coach? "Mississippi State, Texas, Arkansas, West Virginia, and Tennessee."

Will your visits most likely come from these schools? "Yea, probably Arkansas and West Virginia for sure. Maybe Texas too. I do not know. I am going to let my coach handle all of that."

Any inhome visits this week? "West Virginia and Arkansas are."

What is your current GPA and ACT score? "I have a 3.1 GPA and a 20 on the ACT.
