Most insiders thought Auburn was going to be the school of choice at the Army All-American bowl. Little did anyone know, that it would be the Bengals, who were thought to be in third for the race, behind Auburn and then Ole Miss.

But as Powe stated before, "my decision on signing day is likely to change again."

Everyone is waiting to see if that "most likely" scenario takes place. Right now, we do know that Powe has taken his official visits with all three of his finalist. He just arrived back home from his visit to Ole Miss. We called to see how his visit went.

The following information was revealed during our interview with Jerrell Powe:

Did you make it in for your Ole Miss visit? "Yea, it was a lot of fun."

Anybody accompany you? "No, I just rode up there by myself."

Who was your host? "Gary Pack. Yea, we have been friends and competitors for a while. He is a wonderful guy. He laid it down straight and told me how it is. He showed me the ropes."

Was this your first time to step on the Ole Miss campus? "Yea, it was."

Was it better or worse than what you were expecting? "A whole lot better, just a whole lot better (laugh). Man, I did not know it was anything like it is, man. That place is alive."

What did you learn that you liked? "The players and coaches. I mostly liked that about them."

What stuck out to you about your trip? "Just how much fun the social life is around there, and Coach Orgeron, he is a good guy. I like him so much. Just the way he treats his players, like they are one of his own. He is open to everybody."

What all did Coach Orgeron say to you in your meeting? "He just told me to come and represent my home state. He is going to take them to the Sugar Bowl. There is no doubt in my mind he will do it, and he said I would be a big part of it."

What was your response? "Just like, lead me in the right direction."

Where does Ole Miss now stand with you? "Very high, very high."

But you are still committed to LSU? "Right, but it is just Ole Miss and LSU. I have not been receiving too many phone calls from Auburn. It is between Ole Miss and LSU, pretty much."

Any inhome visits lined up this week? "I do not know right now. Ole Miss is suppose to come by like Thursday, something like that."
