"Everyone is down to earth"
The following information was revealed during our interview with Gary Albury:
What is your current height, weight, and forty time? "I am 6' 0", 180, and I run a 4.5 forty."
What are your strengths on the field? "My quickness and reaction time."
What are you working on for the next level? "I am just going to stay in the weight room and keep getting stronger."
What were your stats from this past season? "I had 60 tackles and 5 int's."
Who were the main schools that were involved in your recruitment? "Florida, FIU, Clemson, Ole Miss, and South Florida."
Which schools offered you a scholarship? "Florida, South Florida, FIU, and Ole Miss."
I hear you committed to Ole Miss? "Yes sir, I committed last night."
Why did you commit to Ole Miss? "The coaching staff. Coach Orgeron is a well balanced coach. I like the way he welcomes his recruits."
What new did you learn about Ole Miss during your visit? "Just being around the players helped me out because they are real down to earth and not stuck up."
What was the clincher in your decision? "The coaching staff and players. Just the environment. They make you feel at home."
Did having your former teammate, Dustin Mouzon, at Ole Miss help? "Yea, big time. I called right before I committed last night. I told him to be real to me, and I also got a lot of input from Alan Abrams. We are real close."
Do you have any inhome visits lined up this week? "Yea, Coach Orgeron is coming by."
Will you take anymore visits? "No sir, I am done."
Gary carries a 2.5 GPA and an 18 on the ACT.
