Editors Note - We have learned from our sources that Darius was not in Oxford last weekend, as we reported, on an official visit. We did not know this at the time we called Darius last Sunday, as he was scheduled to come in for an official visit

Darius did visit Ole Miss unofficially in the past, so he might have been speaking of his prior visit to Ole Miss when he was answering our questions. On questions referring to Coach Ed Orgeron, he may have been talking about the in-home visit he received from the new staff. We apologize for the miscommunication. What is important, however, is that Darius is expected to come to Oxford today.

The following questions were asked:

Did you make it in on your Ole Miss visit? "Yes sir."

Did anyone accompany you? "Yes sir, my stepdad and mother."

How did they like Ole Miss? "They liked it a lot. It is closer to my house than any SEC school, and I have always dreamed of playing in the SEC. I liked the people, stadium, facilities, and coaches."

What did you learn about Ole Miss that maybe you did not know from before? "I learned that is is a party school. They throw good parties. I also liked their new facilities, new weight room, and everything inside their new indoor arena."

What most did you like about Ole Miss? "The people really. They have good people up there."

How did your meeting with Coach Orgeron go? "It went great. He is a real motivator. He seems like he would get you real pumped up. That is the kind of coach I would like to play for."

Did he offer you a scholarship? "Yes sir."

And what was your response? "I told him I was going to weigh my options out and decide after I take my last official visit to Tennessee this weekend."

What is your current GPA and ACT score? "I have a 1.7 GPA and a 15 on the ACT."

Do you still have a shot at making your grades or have you given prep school or the junior college route any thoughts? "I am still trying to make it. If I get a 21 on the ACT, and I pull up my GPA this Spring, I will be good. I am doing really good in my classes right now, so I think I have a chance."
