Wallace Bates (LB, Woodland Hills, CA) - Not many prospects from California have visited Ole Miss since we have been in this business, but Wallace simply fell in love with the quaint town of Oxford yesterday. He told us that he has indeed qualified and is enrolling on Monday, but we have not verified that with our sources. He is very well put together and looked to be in the 6' 3", 230 range. Bates was actively recruiting other prospects and took a leadership role last night.

Milton Collins (WR, Jones CC, MS) - The former O.Perry Walker standout was actively recruiting the other prospects last night for Ole Miss. Looked at home and seems to be in the 6' 2", 195 range. Milton is being hosted by Mario Hill

Dustin Forston (LB, Miami, FL) - The 6' 0", 210 linebacker is being hosted by Mario Hill. Along with Matt Hardrick, he won our dance competition. Dustin was having a blast and seemed shocked that Oxford was "alive" as it is, which seems to be a common theme for a lot of the out of state prospects.
Committed to Kansas

Matt Hardrick (OL, Orlando, FL) - Scout.com's #10 offensive lineman definitely had the best moves last night. The big boy from Edgewater was simply having a big time. We would be very surprised if the Rebels were not very much in the game after he completes his visit. Hardrick was the leader of the pack last night for the rest of other recruits and is being hosted by Dustin Mouzon, who is a former teammate of Matt's.

John Jerry (OL, South Panola, MS) - The Dandy Dozen selection will arrive at Ole Miss unofficially on Saturday.

Peria Jerry (DL,. Hargrave, VI) - We did not get a chance to see Scout.com's #39 ranked DT last night but we understand that he is being hosted by Michael Bozeman.
Committed to Ole Miss

Leron King (LB, Miami, FL) - The 6' 1", 210 pound linebacker had 19 QB sacks as a junior for Miami N' Western. He actually looked bigger than his listed size, as he looked to be in the 6' 2", 225 range. King was spotted having a big time on the dance floor and was hanging out with the rest of the Florida prospects.

Darius Myers (OL, Cordova, TN) - Darius was hosted by Tre Stallings while he was on campus and brought both of his parents with him. Myers left for Tennessee yesterday and will be back on Sunday. To read our complete coverage on the young man, go to the front page.

Reid Neely (OL, Jackson, MS) - 3 Star prospect is being hosted by Ryan Jones. Neely looked to be already in the same mold (physically) as Doug Buckles but is actually an inch or two taller than Doug.
Committed to Ole Miss

Derek Pegues (Ath, South Panola, MS) - Scout.com's #4 rated CB (5 star) was like a movie star out on the town last night. Everyone knew who he was, and he looked to be in good hands. What will surprise you about Derek is his size. Although he is in the 5' 11" range, he is very thick for a skilled athlete. Lets just say that he is very well put together. Pegues is being hosted by his best friend, Jamarca Sanford. His father and mother accompanied him on the trip.

Kendrick Perry (FB, Amite, LA) - Scout.com #32 running back in the country was finally suppose to arrive at Ole Miss last night. He had to miss his last two scheduled official visits with the University of Mississippi due to scheduling conflicts with his high school basketball team. Perry is being hosted by Tre Stallings.
committed to Ole Miss

Travis Sanford (WR, South Panola, MS) - Scout.com's #2 ranked player from Mississippi (4 star) will be on campus unofficially today.

Archie Sims (LB, Laurel, MS) - Scout.com's *92 rated LB looked to be a laid back young man. What impressed us what his demeanor and how he carried himself. Very sturdily built with a thick chest and looked to be in the 6' 0", 215 range.

Rennell Thomas
(CB, New Orleans, LA) - The St. Augustine product is being hosted by Te' Biddle. Like Derek Pegues, what you are so surprised about, when meeting Rennell, is how thick he is for a skilled athlete. Very clean cut kid who is a yes sir/no sir type of your man. Thomas' mother accompanied him on the trip.

Antonio Turner (FB, Orlando, FL) - Scout.com's #59 overall running back looks identical to Archie Sims. They are both in the 6' 0", 220 mold and both wear the same haircuts. Turner was having a blast and was running with his teammate, Matt Hardrick, and the current Florida players at Ole Miss.

Other Tidbits

Boyd Coleman (CB) and Richie Rich (RB) never made it to town last night. It is currently icing in Atlanta, and we doubt they are going to be able to now make the drive. We will keep you posted if anything changes with their status.

Chris Todd did arrive in Oxford yesterday, and what we have been told by the players he was hanging out with, it looks very good for the Rebels.

We spoke to Jerrell Powe's mother just minutes ago. Powe canceled his LSU visit which could only bode well for the Rebels chances to land the #1 rated DT in America!!

Special Note

All of the message boards are down inside the scout.com network right now. They are working as quickly as possible to get everything back in order.

Thanks for your patience.
