After failing to qualify, Coach Trickett at West Virginia advised him to enroll at Jones CC.

Last month, O. Perry Walker's former head coach, Frank Wilson, was hired as the running back coach at Ole Miss. Milton decided to join his old head coach at the University of Mississippi after taking his official visit this past weekend.

Milton will be joining his former teammate, Burnell "Mike" Wallace, and marks the 10th commitment from the Bayou state.

The following information was revealed during our interview with Milton Collins:

What is your current height, weight, and forty time? "I am 6' 1", 180, and I run a 4.3 forty."

What is your current bench, squat, and vertical? "I do not know about my bench and squat. I probably have not maxed out since high school. I have a 41.5" vertical though."

You come from O Perry Walker? "Yes sir."

Did you sign with anyone out of high school? "West Virginia."

How did you end up at Jones CC? "Coach Trickett (West Virginia) knew some people over there, so he told me to go there until I got my grades straight."

How did you do this past season Jones CC? "I had 60 receptions for over 1,000 yards and 10 TD's. I broke Dion Branch's record for receptions in a game with 10 at the Golden Owl Bowl."

Which schools have been recruiting you the hardest? "MSU, Ole Miss, LSU, West Virginia really hard, and USM."

Did you just take an official visit with Ole Miss this past weekend? "Yes sir, I committed."

Why did you choose Ole Miss? "My old coach , Frank Wilson, he is at Ole Miss now. He gave me another reason to like Ole Miss. Their new staff opened doors for a lot of new players. I had my mind set on Ole Miss ever since then."

What else did you like about Ole Miss during your trip? "Really, it just feels like I am back at home. My boy from home, Mike Wallace, he is going there too. We were the starting receivers together at O. Perry, so you know, we are going to carry on the tradition."

What all did you learn about Ole Miss during your trip? "It is not all about football. It is about the things you can do after you play football. The best thing though is Coach Orgeron. He is hyped all day. He is an active coach. At practices, I hear he is right in the middle of the drills doing them with you, not all coaches are like that. That is what got me."

Who came in second for your services? "I would say LSU."

Tell us about your relationship with Coach Frank Wilson? "That is like my second daddy to me. Every player from O. Perry treats him like blood. Our relationship is like no one else, it is just different."

When are you scheduled to graduate? "I have 6 more hours to complete in June, and then I will be done."
