There were around a 100 prospects on hand for the Spring game. Listed below were the top prospects on hand:

2005 Signees

Tyson Andrus

Tyson Andrus (S, Lafayette, LA) - Named 2004 District 5 (4A) Player of the Year.

Jada Brown
Jada Brown (DT, College Park, GA) - Brown had 96 tackles and 12 sacks during the 2004 campaign.

John Jerry

John Jerry (DL, South Panola, MS) - Had over 150 tackles in Jr and Sr seasons.




Robert Russell

Robert Russell (LB, New Orleans, LA) - Recorded 168 tackles and 13 sacks. Named Player of the Years in District 3 (5A) and West Bank (New Orleans).

2006 Prospects

Michael Carter
Michael Carter (DL, Melrose, TN) - Arguable, Memphis' top rated defensive tackle. Listed as 6' 5", 300.

Troy Gidden
(LB, Hammond, LA)

Greg Hardy
Greg Hardy (DL, Memphis, TN) - Offered by Ole Miss and LSU. Could be most talented defensive end in Memphis.

Brandon Jackson

Brandon Jackson (LB, Memphis, TN) - Committed to Ole Miss.

Hendrick Leverette
(LB, Oak Grove, MS) - Listed as 6' 0", 210 with 4.55 speed.

Zach MacDowall
Zach MacDowall (QB, Kennesaw, GA) - Passed for 2,317 yards with 25 touchdowns against 8 interceptions.

Matt Malouf (QB, Oxford, MS) - Arguably Mississippi's top signal caller. Listed as 6' 2 1/2", 215.

Wallace McLaurin
Wallace McLaurin (TE, Jackson, MS) - Brother of Sidney McLaurin. One of the top 2 TE's in Mississippi.

Aubrey McPhadden

Aubrey McPhadden (OT, East MS CC, MS) - Signed with FSU in '03 and committed to the Rebels on Saturday.

Branden Napier

Branden Napier (OL, Ellisville, MS) - One of the Top 3 offensive linemen in the Magnolia state.

Korey Raymond
Korey Raymond (DL, East MS CC, MS) - Signed with Auburn in '04 and committed to the Rebels on Saturday.

Chris Strong (LB, South Panola, MS) - 1st cousin of former Rebel, Eddie Strong. Considered one of the top rising juniors in the state of Mississippi.

Justin Woodall
Justin Woodall (Ath, Oxford, MS) - Had 18 picks and close to 1,000 yards receiving last season.
