The following information was revealed during our interview with Jonathan Hollins:

What did you measure in at today while you were at the combine? "They had me at 6' 3", 228. I have lost a little weight since the season ended. I am usually in the 235 to 240 range."

And your 40 time today? "I ran a 4.85."

What are your strengths at defensive end? "I feel like I am a strong pass rusher. I am developing more skills on stopping the run."

Is stopping the run the number one thing you are working on? "That, and I am also working on getting stronger in the weight room."

What were your stats as a junior? "I had 64 tackles, 12 sacks, 2 caused fumbles, and 1 interception."

Any awards? "I was named 1st Team All-State, All-Metro, and All-District. I was also our District's Player of the Year."

Any early offers? "Ole Miss, USM, Texas Tech, and Houston have offered me."

Anymore close to offering? "I think Florida is about to."

Any phone calls this month? "Florida, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, USM, and Houston called."

Who called first? "Coach Wilson (Ole Miss) did."

Which coach stood out the most? "The most would have to be Coach Wilson. I talked to him two or three times when I called him. The one thing he always tells me that sticks out is he says go where you are the most wanted. That is like in my head."

Which colleges have caught your eye? "Ole Miss. They are number one on my list. Then I would put Texas Tech next and then Southern Mississippi."

What do you like about Ole Miss? "Just the way they have recruited me. You very rarely find coaches that evaluate players like they do. Most show you the interest, but they take it to another level. It is like all of their coaches send you letters. And when you talk to one of them, you talk to all of them. I really like that about them."

Who recruits you for Ole Miss? "Coach Frank Wilson."

Did you know Coach Wilson before he arrived at Ole Miss? "I knew of him, but I did not know him personally. My coach says a lot of good things about him, and I heard a lot about him when he was the head coach at O. Perry Walker."

What attracts you to Texas Tech? "They have a good winning tradition, and my defensive line coach, his brother plays for Tech."

What about USM? "They are in a good conference, Conference USA, and they have good coaching. They also have a pretty good defense every year."

And Houston? "I saw them when they played USM last year. It looked like they had a pretty good team."

What will you look for when it comes decision time? "Basically, I will look for the team that has the best academic program."
