Top QB's expected to attend Ole Miss' Sr Camp

Greg McElroy
Greg McElroy (QB, Soutlake, TX) - The 6' 3", 212 pound signall caller from Carroll (5A) will finally have the spot light shining on him this summer and next fall. Greg played behind Texas' record setter, Chase Daniels last season.

Coach Mazzone has been to evaluate Greg at his practices and the Rebels have offered. Texas Tech, UTEP, and Kansas have offered too.









Nick Stephens
Nick Stephens (QB, Flowers Mound, TX) - The 6' 3", 195 pound signall caller had to sit out his junior campaign due to the district's transfer rules, but Stephens had a strong showing at the Elite 11 Regional camp.

One of the school's that Nick caught the attention was Ole Miss, as Coaches Ed Orgeron and Noel Mazzone attended a practice of Stephen's last week. Other colleges who have been by to evaluate Nick after his Elite 11 Regional showing are Texas, Colorado, Kansas St., Wisconsin, Tulane, Tulsa, Oklahoma State, Georgia Tech, Baylor, and LSU.







Shaun Hakes
Shaun Hakes (QB, Ft. Worth, TX) - The 6' 2", 180 pound signall caller transferred to Nolan Christian from Colleyville Heritage last fall. He helped Nolan Christian win the Division I-6A state championship, posting a 12-1 record. Hakes had four interceptions as a safety on defense and filled in at quarterback.

“I started at free safety,” Hakes said. “We had a senior who was already there at quarterback. I would go in offense and go in on defense, wherever I was needed. I will be on offense mostly this season."







Garrett Utt
(QB, Atlanta, GA) - The 6' 4", 197 signall caller from Lovett had the following to say to scout.com, "“I play great on the run, if the play breaks down, I am good at finding the open receiver,” Utt replied when asked about what he does best on the field. When asked about what he looks for in a school, Utt mentioned “Playing time and coaches, if the school already has seven quarterbacks, then I will not be too interested in them.”
