Could Terry be a two sports athlete at Ole Miss?

Terry Levy (WR, Kosciusko, MS) - After putting up some big time numbers in the past two seasons (caught over 100 passes for 25 TD's and 10 interceptions), the last few months has been a whirlwind for the 4 Star prospect out of Mississippi.

First, he was offered a scholarship by the University of Mississippi and committed shortly thereafter. Then he was named to the prestigious South Hot 100 Team by Levy was also named to Scout's 1st Team All-Mississippi Squad and was given a 4 Star ranking.

What else is there left for the two sports athlete?

News came early this week that Levy was named to the Clarion Ledger's Dandy Dozen Squad. Now the head basketball coach at Ole Miss has expressed interest in Levy playing both sports at Ole Miss.

Is Terry interested?

The following information was revealed during our interview with Terry Levy:

Have you heard from Ole Miss lately? "Coach Barnes called my basketball coach. He wanted to see if I was interested in playing basketball up there."

What did your coach tell Rod Barnes? "He told him that I already had a full scholarship to play football for them."

What was Coach Barnes' reaction? "He said he was going to talk with Coach Orgeron and see if I could play both sports."

Have you personally spoken to Coach Orgeron about this issue? "Not yet, but I am going to call him pretty soon."

What do you want to do? "I would love to play basketball too, but it is up to Coach Orgeron."

What did you average last season in basketball? "I averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds."

Which position did you play? "Power forward."

Which football camps have you attended this summer? "I have been to Ole Miss' Sr Camp, Nike Camp, and Team Camp. I went to Alabama's SR camp, and East Central CC's Team Camp. I am going to MSU's Team Camp in a couple of weeks."

Are you still solid with Ole Miss? "As solid as I can be."
