First, he was offered a scholarship by the University of Mississippi and committed shortly thereafter. Then he was named to the prestigious South Hot 100 Team by Scout.com. Levy was also named to Scout's 1st Team All-Mississippi Squad and was given a 4 Star ranking.

you heard from Ole Miss lately? "Coach Barnes called my basketball coach.
He wanted to see if I was interested in playing basketball up there."
did your coach tell Rod Barnes? "He told him that I already had a full scholarship
to play football for them."
What was Coach Barnes' reaction? "He
said he was going to talk with Coach Orgeron and see if I could play both sports."
you personally spoken to Coach Orgeron about this issue? "Not yet, but I
am going to call him pretty soon."
What do you want to do? "I
would love to play basketball too, but it is up to Coach Orgeron."
did you average last season in basketball? "I averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds."
position did you play? "Power forward."
Which football camps
have you attended this summer? "I have been to Ole Miss' Sr Camp, Nike Camp,
and Team Camp. I went to Alabama's SR camp, and East Central CC's Team Camp. I
am going to MSU's Team Camp in a couple of weeks."
Are you still solid
with Ole Miss? "As solid as I can be."
