What do you currently play? "Both power forward and center. It all depends on how good their big man is."
What are your strengths on the court? "Just being physical and putting the ball in the hole from a number of different ways. I am a pretty versatile scorer."
What do you most need to work on? "My ball handling and quickness. Those would be the two biggest things."
Tell us about your freshman season. "I played at two different schools. I had a pretty good season my freshman year."
Which schools did you play for? "I played at Byhalia and then I transferred to H.W. Byers in December."
And you have since transferred to Oxford High? "Yes sir, I already transferred to Oxford. I went to their school for the last month."
Why have you moved around? "My mother was getting transferred with her job, so I had to go with her."
What did you average as a freshman? "I averaged around 16.8 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and 5 blocks per game."
Any awards? "I was named MVP at H.W. Byers."
Have you attended any showcase tournaments this summer? "Yes sir, I have been to 2 Nike tournaments and 1 Adidas Tournament."
Any awards? "Yes sir, I was named MVP at the Nike tournament that was in Dallas last month."
Which colleges have you been hearing from? "I have talked to Louisville, Kansas, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi State, and Oklahoma. I get a lot of letters from a lot more schools too."
Did you commit to Ole Miss? "Yes sir."
Why Ole Miss? "Because it is close to home and there are a lot of great coaches there. I know everybody there too."
How long have you known the Ole Miss coaches? "I have been working out in their coliseum a lot since I moved down here. Me and Solomon Bozeman work out together a lot. He already knew them, so he kind of introduced me to them."
What is your relationship with Solomon? "We are like best friends. Even though he is moving to Arkansas, we talk on the phone every day. And when ever he is down here, we work out together."
Who was your next favorite school after Ole Miss? "Probably Kansas and Louisville, but I am going to stick with Ole Miss. My mom is going to retire in Oxford, and I want a chance to play with Solomon and have my family at the games."
What is your current academic status? "I have a 3.5 GPA. I make straight A's basically and a few B's every now and then."
