Ole Miss Coach Ed Orgeron has inked 29 players since his arrival in December, including transfer TB BenJarvus Green-Ellis, JUCO WR Milton Collins, mid-semester players OL Lance Lee and WR Burnell Wallace , "late" signee QB Billy Tapp and 24 other freshmen.
Green-Ellis, a transfer from
Indiana; Wallace, who signed with Oregon State in 2004, but became academically
eligible last fall; and Lee, who signed with Ole Miss in '04 but went the same
route as Wallace; all went through spring training. Lee has since quit the team.
Bates, who went the same route as Lee and Wallace as a late qualifier,
came on board the first semester of summer school, but was dismissed from the
