What makes you such a good defensive tackle? "My quickness off the ball. I am real quick off the snap."

What most do you need to work on? "My pass rushing mostly. I am good at it, but I need to get better."

Which high school did you attend? "Varnado High (LA)."

What all did you accomplish in high school? "I made All-District from my 10 - 12 grade years. I made All-State my 11th and 12th grade years. I also played in two bowl games. I played in the Louisiana vs Florida high school All-Star game. I was named Defensive MVP for the game. And I played in the Bayou Bowl. That is the Louisiana Vs Texas high school All-star game. I was named Defensive Line MVP for that game."

How did you end up at Pearl River CC? "I went to USM's Sr Camp, and I won DL MVP. A coach from Pearl River CC called me after the camp and asked me to come to his camp. I went to it, and they recruiting me from there."

Did you sign with a D1 program and fail to qualify? "No sir, I did not sign with anybody else. I just signed with Pearl River CC."

Talk about your freshman year at Pearl River CC? "We had a pretty good year. We won the National Championship and went undefeated. It was a big step coming from high school and then taking over the starting spot on a national championship team. But it was a lot of fun and a great learning experience."

What were your stats for the season? "I think I had 78 tackles and 4 sacks."

Did you garner any awards? "I got the Best Underclassmen Award, and I was named to the Preseason All-American team (Honorable Mention)."

What are your goals for your sophomore season? "I want to be an All-American and lead the state of Mississippi in tackles and sacks."

Which colleges are you hearing from the most? "Hearing from the most? Lets see, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, TCU, Baylor, Kansas State, Ohio State, ULL, La Tech, USM, Alabama, and I think that is about it."

Any early scholarship offers? "Yes sir, Ole Miss, Kansas State, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Baylor, TCU, and ULL have all offered me. I think that is about it."

Who is coming after you the hardest? "Pretty much all of them that have offered me are coming after me hard."

Which colleges are peaking your interest? "Pretty much all of the ones that are recruiting me. I am keeping an eye on all of them."

Been on any visits to the schools you are interested in? "I went and checked out Ole Miss' practice this past Saturday."

What did you learn about Ole Miss during your visit? "I see they work real hard. Their new coach does not take no stuff. He makes you work real hard. They were the first school that I have seen practice. It was just real up tempo and intense."

Did you like it? "I liked it pretty good. I liked it real good. Coach Orgeron has sent a lot of players to the league, so I would be getting like two coaches in one if I go there. Me being a defensive lineman, to have a coach like Coach Orgeron, could really help me get to the league."

What will you be looking at when you are trying to find the right school for you? "I will look at their depth chart and see how I fit in. Will they have a need for me? "I only have two years to play. I will go to the place I have the best chance to make an immediate impact."

Frank is on track to graduate in December.
