Over 50 members of his family are now based in Oxford after fleeing from the carnage and devastation of one of the worst natural disasters America has ever witnessed.
"Everyone is safe, and that's what matters most," said Wilson, a visibily exhausted man. "We are all thankful for that and for the Ole Miss family that has reached out to help us.
"We are getting everyone housed and everyone is starting to get situated a little. Everything they have is gone in Louisiana, but the Ole Miss family has opened their hearts to us, Coach O has been great, the local schools have embraced our children. To take this kind of tragedy and see the warmth and kindness in people really has lifted our spirits. It makes me love this place even more than I already did."
The football office is taking donations of all kinds - clothing, furniture, bedding, toiletries, food, basically any necessity you can think of - for the Wilson family and the results have been nothing short of excellent.
But more is needed.
Contact Chyna Ward at 1-662-915-1564 or email@example.com to find out how you can help the Wilsons. Rest assured, anything is appreciated and needed.
The following are some pictures from today's workout.
