Which prospects will be in town on Saturday?

Ole Miss will host their first home game this weekend. To view some of the prospects who are expected to be at the game, read below

Ole Miss/Wyoming September 24, 2005

First of all, we have seen a change in philosophy from this staff to the prior staff.

In the years past, you might see anywhere from 100-300 prospects at each home game.

This staff is going to eliminate most of the fluff and invite the legit prospects instead. There will be some potential walk-ons and players of this caliber, but for the most part, the prospects in the stands will all be serious prospects.

Therefore, do not expect hundreds of prospects at each game like we have seen in the past years.

Expect there to be 20 - 50 prospects, somewhere in that range, for the home games this season.

Anyway, here are some prospects that have told us they are going to be here this weekend.

LB Derrick Odom (still deciding, but said more than likely he will be here.

WR Terry Levy

DB Cassius Vaughan

Ath LaDerrick Vaughn

DT L.T. Walker - Said he was not 100% sure, but he thinks he is coming.

DB Justin Woodall

Ath Tim Buckley

RB Reggie Hicks

LB Brandon Jackson

RB Derrick Davis

RB Cordera Eason

LB Roshaad Byrd

RB Graig Cooper - Said he was not 100% sure, but more than likely will make the trip with his buddy Michael Carter (DT).

There will be more prospects than this at the game, and we will release all of the serious candidates after they visit.

Official Visitor

The Rebels will host one official visit this weekend and it will be John Ware out of Cardinal Gibbons (Ft.Lauderdale, FL). John is a WR/Ath prospect and we should be receiving more information about John in the immediate future.
