Will this connection be enough for the Rebels to get a foot in the door?
The following information was revealed during our interview with Jeff Miller:
How is Westlake's season going? "We are 1-1. We lost last week to Notre Dame. They are ranked #2 in the state."
What improvements have you seen in your game this season? "I have not played because I broke my foot in two a days. I will come back in Game 5. It is our second game in league play."
What do you bring to the table at DE? "I bring a speed rush off the edge. I am real aggressive. I can run around the tackles or run through them."
do you max out? "My bench is around 305, and I have not squatted in a month
or two because of my foot, but back then, I was squatting around 450."
Did you receive any awards from your junior season? "Yes sir, I was named 1st Team All-State, All-County, and All-Marmonte."
Have you had a chance to set up your official visits yet? "No sir, but I am probably going to take them after the season is over if I take them at all."
You might not take any visits? "I do not know yet. I hope to commit before the end of the season. If not, I will take my visits."
Which colleges are you considering? "Basically, all of the PAC 10 schools, plus Oklahoma and Ole Miss. I went to Oregon, UCLA, and Stanford this summer for unofficial visits. They were all good schools."
Have you been offered by all of these schools? "Yes sir."
Which colleges are you realistically going to choose from? "Pretty much the schools I took unofficial visits to. I like them all."
How did you become interested in Ole Miss? "My brother was recruited by Coach Orgeron when he was at USC, and now he is recruiting me. I like Ole Miss basically because of Coach Orgeron."
Do you plan to take a visit, officially or unofficially, to Ole Miss this fall? "Maybe, but it will be tough for me to get down there because of my season and it being so far away. I would love to get down there though. I really do want to check his football program out before I make a final decision."
