Corey Actis talks about official to Ole Miss
The following information was revealed during our interview with Corey Actis:
How did your visit go? "It went good, real good. I had some fun, talked business, and did all kinds of stuff."
Who was your host? "Ryan Jones. He was a nice guy, real fun and laid back, like me."
What did you learn about Ole Miss that you did not know from before? "That it was not a big town. I thought it would be big but it was small. I also saw how nice their school and facilities are."
Do you want to be in a big or small city? "Small. I am just a country boy."
What did you think about the Grove? "It was interesting. They have very nice people out there and a lot of school spirit."
What most stood out about Ole Miss during your visit? "Their facilities and coaches."
How did your meeting with Coach Orgeron go? "It went good. He is a really excited man. I liked him."
Did he ask you to commit? "No, he did not ask me. I told them before I came on visit that I was going to take all of my visits before I made a commitment. They knew that going in, so he did not even ask."
Did Coach Orgeron ask you where they stood? "Yea, he did. I told him at this point, they were on top."
Do you feel like you fit in at Ole Miss? "Definitely. I like it a lot there. I could definitely see myself playing there."
Where do you officially visit next? "I think it will be Arizona. I will probably go out there and take a visit pretty soon."
Corey will transfer to a D1 program in December with 3 1/2 years to play 2.
