Ole Miss football Commitment Stats for October 8th and season

OL Josh Davis - Josh has 23 pancake blocks in three games of action. Tylertown's season was delayed for about a month due to Hurricane Katrina.

RB Marcus Green - Marcus is sitting out of football this semester. He is currently finishing up his needed requirements in Bastrop (LA). Our sources expect Marcus to be ready by Spring camp. Marcus scored over 100 TD's during his high school career.

QB Michael Herrick - Valencia suffered their first loss of the season on Friday. They were defeated by Notre Dame 21- 14. Michael had a solid game as he was 17-32 for 320 yards and 3 TD's, but his interceptions came back to haunt Valencia, as Herrick threw a career high 4 picks.

Two of those interceptions came from Ole Miss Hot List prospect, Rodney Glass. Rodney also had two rushing TD's for Notre Dame. Another Ole Miss Hot List prospect, Garrett Green, had missed the two prior games for Notre Dame but was back on the field last Friday. He more than held his on as Garrett rushed for 208 yards on 24 carries. Green also passed for nearly 200 yards to give him over 400 yards of total offense on the day.

Michael Herrick is averaging over 300 passing yards a game. If he continues on this pace, he will break California's State record for career passing yards in game 9 when Valencia faces Canyon

WR Shay Hodge - Shay has 19 catches for 400 yards and 9 TD's for the season. On defense, he has collected 38 tackles and 3 picks.

LB Brandon Jackson - Jackson is currently averaging over 10 tackles a game.

OL/DL John Jerry - John played some defensive tackle against Kentucky the Friday before last. Hargrave had a bye this past week. Ole Miss commitment, Jerrell Powe, had to sit out the game due to a hamstring pull. We are not sure if this is the reason John was moved to DT for the game or not. When we receive confirmation, we will report back to you.

LB Sam Johnson - Sam has helped Euraka to a 5 - 1 start and a #5 state ranking. On offense, Sam has over 500 yards rushing in four games of action. Johnson had to sit out games 4 & 5 for an undisclosed injury. This past Friday, Sam came back strong as he rushed for over 150 yards on 11 carries. On defense, he led their unit with 16 tackles. This should come as no surprise as Sam is averaging over 15 tackles a game this season.

WR Terry Levy - Helped
Kosciusko to a 49-14 win over New Hope. Terry had 2 rushes for 40 yards and a TD. Levy also hauled in 2 passes for 55 yards and a TD. While manning the safety position, Terry had 4 tackles and 1 interception. Terry's contributions did not stop there as he also returned a kickoff for 55 yards.

Levy now has 11 catches for 260 yards and 4 receiving TD's on the young season. In the rushing department, he has carried the ball 11 times for 200 yards and 3 TD's. At safety, he has amassed 45 tackles and 2 int's for the season. His long kickoff return is 95 yards for a TD.

WR Kendrick Lewis - After joining Gainseville in the 4th game of the season, Lewis has simply been dominate. Kendrick has 4 TD's at wide receiver in 4 games of action. He has also returned a kickoff and a punt for a TD. On defense, he has already collected 3 int's in the three games he has been inserted at safety.

Kendrick has scheduled his official visit with Ole Miss for December 3-5.

OL Aubrey McPhadden - Aubrey is sitting out of football this Fall and will have 3 1/2 years to play 3 for the Rebels.

DL Jerrell Powe - Jerrell had to sit out the Kentucky game because of a sore hamstring. He was averaging 8.5 tackles and 1.5 sacks per game through the first four games of action.

DL/OL Korey Raymond - Korey has been moved to nose guard, as he has blossomed up to 285 pounds. In the first three games of action, Korey has 18 tackles and 2 sacks.

Robert Ramirez - We were not able to gather Ramirez' stats.

QB Nick Stephens - Nick passed for 248 yards and 3 TD's while directing his team to a 35-25 bitter sweet victory over his former school, Marcus High.

Nick had to sit out his junior year after an ugly court battle due to a transfer rule.

Stephens has over 1,400 yards passing with 15 TD's and 6 int's in the first 6 games of action.

Cassius Vaughan - Cassius helped 6-1 East to a 50-0 win against Jackson N' Side last Friday night. Cassius, who is now playing running back and wide receiver, had 2 receptions for 45 yards and 1 rush for 40 yards and a TD. Vaughan also had a 90 yard kickoff return that was called back for holding.

For the season, Vaughan has over 600 yards rushing and 10 TD's and 4 picks.

Ath LaDerrick Vaughn - Vaughn has done just about everything for his team this season. He is playing QB, RB, LB, KR, and PR for
Manassas. For the season, Vaughn has 545 yards rushing and 7 TD's on 62 carries. On defense, LaDerrick has collected 31 tackles and 4 sacks.
