The following information was revealed during our interview with Korey Raymond:
How is your season going? "It is has kind of lacking but we are doing our best."
is going on? "We are 1-2, you know, so it has not been too pretty."
Give us a game by game blow. "We played MS Delta CC in our first game. We lost 14-31."
How good was Lavarus Giles? "Their running bac?. He was all right. He was not bad."
What were your stats for the game? "I had 4 tackles that night. I am playing nose guard now though. In our second game, we lost to East Central MS CC 26-0. I had 6 tackles and 2 sacks in that game. And then we played N' West MS CC last, and we beat them 12-10. I had 10 tackles and 1 sack in that game. So, you know, our team, and me personally, we are all getting better and better."
How has the transition to nose guard gone? "It is all right. It is not that bad though. I really wanted to play defensive end though. It is all right."
What adjustments have you had to make? "Basically, you just have to be a lot more physical. You have to play smarter. Read the plays and everything."
What are you weighing these days? "Some days 285 and sometimes I get it up in the 290's."
Have you set up your official visit to Ole Miss yet? "Yea, me and Aubrey McPhadden are going up there on November 11th."
Will that be the only official visit you are going to take? "Right now, that is the only visit I have marked down. I do not know where else I am going."
Anybody else under consideration? "No, not really. I am not looking at anyone else besides Ole Miss. Everybody quit calling after I committed (to Ole Miss). But I still would not mind going on some trips and having some free fun (laugh)."
Do you plan to attend any Ole Miss games unofficially? "Right now, our whole month of October are Saturday games, so it would have to be in November."
Are you still on schedule to get out in December? "Yes sir."
