Still set to visit Ole Miss this weekend?

DeAndre Morgan (CB, Suncoast, FL) - Morgan committed to North Carolina State last week. We called to see if he was still going to take his official visit to Ole Miss this weekend.

The following information was revealed during our interview with DeAndre Morgan:

What is going on? "I committed to North Carolina State like a week and half ago."

You said you were going to take your officials first; what changed? "Well, there are a lot of things going on at my school and my team. I knew N.C. State would take me even with my broken wrist and fractured foot. Our head coach got fired. I only have two or three more weeks left in my rehab and my foot will be OK, but I am out for the season. Our team is not doing any good, so there is no need in me risking further injury. I do not know, there is just a lot going on with my coach getting fired. He has been talking to the NC State staff, and they said they were going to still take me, so I did not want to risk anything. I committed. But Coach Chuck told me he still wanted me to take my official visits so I knew I was making the right decision. I am suppose to visit Ole Miss this weekend, but I have to retake my ACT test on Saturday, so I am going to reschedule that visit. I am definitely going to visit Ole Miss though. Coach Hand from West Virginia called, and I am going to visit them on December 4th. The rest of my officials are still on. I am going to take all of my official visits just to make sure I am making the right decision."
