The following information was revealed during our interview with DeAndre Morgan:
What is going on? "I
committed to North Carolina State like a week and half ago."
you were going to take your officials first; what changed? "Well, there are
a lot of things going on at my school and my team. I knew N.C. State would take
me even with my broken wrist and fractured foot. Our head coach got fired. I only
have two or three more weeks left in my rehab and my foot will be OK, but I am
out for the season. Our team is not doing any good, so there is no need in me
risking further injury. I do not know, there is just a lot going on with my coach
getting fired. He has been talking to the NC State staff, and they said they were
going to still take me, so I did not want to risk anything. I committed. But Coach
Chuck told me he still wanted me to take my official visits so I knew I was making
the right decision. I am suppose to visit Ole Miss this weekend, but I have to
retake my ACT test on Saturday, so I am going to reschedule that visit. I am definitely
going to visit Ole Miss though. Coach Hand from West Virginia called, and I am
going to visit them on December 4th. The rest of my officials are still on. I
am going to take all of my official visits just to make sure I am making the right
