Juco lineman talks about official to Ole Miss

Clarence Bailey (OT, Lackawanna CC, PA) - Clarence is considered one of the top juco offensive line prospects in the country.Bailey took his first official visit over the weekend to the University of Mississippi. We called to see how his visit went.

The following information was revealed during our interview with Clarence Bailey:

How did your trip to Ole Miss go? "Everything went good, real good."

Did anyone accompany you on your trip? "No sir, just me."

Who was your host? "Jason Cook. He was straight. Jason broke his arm against Tennessee, but he was still in high spirits. I really enjoyed getting to know Jason."

What new did you learn about Ole Miss during your trip? "They get a lot of fan support."

What stood out the most during your trip? "Their facilities are by far the best I have seen. The town and campus are small so it is real easy to get around."

How did your meeting with Coach Orgeron go? "It went great. We talked about getting me down there in January."

Did he ask you to commit? "No, he did not ask me to commit."

Did he ask you where you stand with his program? "Yea, I told him they were up there, in my Top 3."

With who? "Oklahoma and South Carolina."

You got a chance to take in an Ole Miss practice and game; do you think you can come in and start next season? "Yes, that is my whole objective."

When do you visit Oklahoma and South Carolina? "I go to Oklahoma on November 26th and South Carolina on December 2nd."

What will you compare the two schools with Ole Miss? "Playing time, the atmosphere around the school, and the warmth of the fans. That is basically it."

Clarence is a December prospect.
