Commitment Update: Robert Ramirez

Robert Ramirez (OC, North Shore, TX) - Ole Miss is looking for some help at the center position, and it looks like they have found a candidate in the 6' 2", 285 pound North Shore product.

The following information was revealed during our interview with Robert Ramirez:

How is your season going? "We are in the playoffs right now. We play West Field in the 2nd round tonight. They are ranked #2 in Texas and we are #3. It should be a great matchup. I think our team is ready."

Have you kept up with your pancakes this season? "No I have not. I wish I would have though. I know I have a bunch of them."

Does your staff grade your offensive line? "My coach grades some of the easier games, but he does not mention it to us. I do not think he does a percentage wise, I think he does it by a point system. It is different than most people's."

What most have you improved on this season? "My techniques are so much better. I would have to say my techniques."

What do you want to work on for the next level? "Coming in at 6' 2", 6' 3" and being a lot stronger."

How tall are you right now? "6' 2"."

When are you going to take your official visit to Ole Miss? "I keep saying after the season is over I will set my date. I am more worried about getting my team to the state. That is my main focus."

Are you still solid with your commitment? "Oh, yes sir. Not to say that I am looking around, but I want to keep my options open. If I am going to be there for 4 to 5 years, I want to be in a comfort zone. I have set up a visit with Missouri for December 16th, but I am still committed to Ole Miss."

How solid are you? "I mean I am still solid, but I just want to be absolutely positive I want to be in Mississippi for the next 4 to 5 years. It is one thing to be verbally committed, but it is another thing to go there for 4 to 5 years and be comfortable there."

Robert carries a 2.93 GPA.
